Background:

The Waba Open Robot Framework (WORF) is a framework enabling the rapid development and deployment of Palm Pilot Robot, and other, applications using the Waba Virtual Machine (VM). The objective of WORF is to enhance the framework so that it is flexible and extensible enough to be usable in robotic software applications in hardware configurations other than Carnegie Mellon's Palm Pilot Robot Kit (PPRK).

2/6/2002- Demo Online

12/1/01 - Java Developer's Journal publishes article about WORF!

11/26/01 - Packaged WORF source and examples for PC and UNIX downloads; Added project to Trove Software Map; Checked in some new code; Added the PPRK survey to Survey area.

11/20/2001 - WORF example programs available for download. Still trying to setup sourceforge project and cvs properly.

11/13/2001 - Created the WORF home page.
